Sadie Robertson recently opened up about being bullied by models during New York Fashion Week.

Did Sadie Robertson Admit 'Duck Dynasty' Was Scripted?

In her new book, Live Original, the reality star turned dancer recalled a run-in with mean models during 2013's New York Fashion Week, where she was walking in a runway show for designer Sherri Hill.

According to an Oct. 27 report by Radar Online, Robertson greeted the girls with a “Hey ya’ll,” but “many of them did not say a single word back to me,” Robertson said. “They just looked at me like they had icicles in their eyes. Without using words, they sent me a strong message: ‘What are you doing here?'”

In the book, Robertson claimed the models were obsessed with their looks, and refused to eat any snacks. Instead, they smoked cigarettes and drank coffee. At first, Robertson admitted to being intimidated by the seemingly perfect models, but said she quickly began to realize the women were struggling with insecurities.

Robertson, on the other hand, was completely confident in herself and credits her religious beliefs for making her into the young woman she is today.

“I could have totally lost it over the comments people made and the icy looks they gave me, but I didn’t," she explained. "God had been training me all my life…to be strong and confident.”

Sadie Robertson can be seen on Dancing With The Stars every Monday and Tuesday night on ABC. She will also be seen on Duck Dynasty season seven, which premieres on A&E on Wednesday, Nov. 19 at 9 p.m.
