On social media, the 39-year-old T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle star told fans she was sick of wearing contacts to change her eye color, and had opted to undergo surgery for "ice gray" implants.

"I permanently changed my eye color with Brightocular and lovin it," Harris wrote on Instagram, along with a photo of her new eye color. "Huge thanks to the incredible doctor(s) for the amazing experience and for making my dream come true."

One person who didn't approve of Harris' decision to undergo surgery to change the color of her eyes was talk show host Wendy Williams. According to an October 28 report by Enstars, Williams put Harris on blast during a recent episode of her show.

"Ok, now you know that I believe in changing things. If there's something about you that you don't like... But understand what I'm saying to you. This right here is going too far!" she said. Williams also claimed the idea of changing one's eye color was as bad as bleaching their skin.

In defense of the procedure, Harris explained, "Of course, any procedure has potential risks but no one has gone blind with brightocular and the success rate has been close to 100%."

Harris also revealed that wearing contacts had given her blurry vision, but said with the new implants, she's seeing perfectly.

In response to Harris' new gray eyes, T.I. played coy. “I don’t know. I don’t know," he said during a radio show appearance. "If she’s coming up here for something maybe you can ask her but I don’t know.”
