It is a good strategy for businesses to move as much product as possible especially during days where there a lot of shoppers milling around. That's not how Solange Knowles did it this time, even during the biggest shopping weekend of the year.

In September of last year, Knowles announced her partnership with Puma, which she wrote in My Damn Blog is her new role. According to her, she is able to express her love not only for the design but also the conceptualization of creative ideas and the execution by curating amazingly talented dreams.

According to E! Online, Knowles did a little delay for the release of her upcoming line of shoes "Wild Wonder."

Instead of releasing it on Friday November 28, same day for the Black Friday shopping, she moved it on Monday December 1st and addressed the message on Instagram of the reason why, saying,

"To echo my feelings shared surrounding the outcome of the Michael Brown case, I have solely decided to postpone the release of my Puma collaboration ... I am truly grateful for everyone's support and excited to share this collection with you soon..."

Just last week, the grand jury did not indict Ferguson, Missouri Police officer Darren Wilson who shot and killed 18-year-old Michael Brown in August. Wilson claimed it was an act of self-defense.

Knowles isn't the only one who has voiced out reactions about the news. Several celebrities with the likes of Katy Perry, Rihanna and Lebron James also shared their reactions through social media. Brown's family was of course, the first ones who were deeply saddened with the jury decision.
