It's official! Madam Secretary is indeed in a relationship with her husband - off screen that is. In the latest issue of Us Weekly, Tea Leoni reveals that she is currently in a relationship with her co-star Tim Daly. In fact, last November 14 the new couple was seen taking a leisurely walk down Los Angeles' Venice area locked in each other's arms.

But don't think that the duo only met on set with just their roles as the source of their romance as Daly, a former cast member of the medical drama Private Practice, revealed in an interview with Collider that they had gone in the same high school named Putney School in Vermont however only 10 years apart. He further shares in the interview that Leoni was very much like him. "She's not a whiner. She wants to work hard and she wants to have fun," he added. "I've gotten along with plenty of people, but the chemistry sucked. And I've hated people where the chemistry is great. It's much better if you get along and the chemistry is good. That's perfect." In terms of the show Daly further adds that Madam Secretary aims to show people that relationships can be passionate and functional all at the same time.

The CBS political drama, Madam Secretary, features 48-year old Leoni playing the role of Elizabeth Faulker McCord while Tim Daly plays the role of her husband. The show debuted last September and marks the first time that the two have worked together onscreen.

Leoni was recently divorced from her 14 year marriage with former X-Files star David Duchovny last August from whom she has two kids. Daly is also a divorcee having spilt with Amy Van Nostrand in 2010. He has two adult children. But no harsh feelings coming from Leoni in regards to the split in an interview saying that ""David gave me the two greatest gifts on the planet; I don't know how I could ever hate him. We've always loved each other, and we adore these kids. I'm not playing stupid. I understand feelings can get hurt and things can get icky. We've had our moments like that. But these kids are too
important, and he feels the same way, I know it. He's a good guy."
