Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice has officially completed filming and will be moving onto post-production. We got word officially from the Instagram post of the film's cinematographer Larry Fong, which you can see HERE. The film was shot mostly in metropolitan Detroit, MI and also in Chicago, IL and New Mexico.

They officially moved up the release date for the movie by two months! Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice  was originally slated for a May 6, 2016 release, the movie is now set to hit theaters on March 25, 2016, according to Deadline

The new movie Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice doesn't release until 2016, but fans are anxious to hear any news they can about the upcoming film. We know that the cast stars are set as Ben Affleck (Batman) and Henry Cavill (Clark Kent/Superman). Also cast for the movie are Gal Gadot (Diana Prince/Wonder Woman), Amy Adams (Lois Lane), Laurence Fishburne (Perry White), Diane Lane (Martha Kent), Jesse Eisenberg (Lex Luthor), Jeremy Irons (Alfred Pennyworth), Tao Okamoto (Luther's assistant, Mercy Graves), and Holly Hunter (U.S. Senator).

Also, a slight spoiler (if you want to call it that) from Badass Digest is that Commissioner Gordon is dead at the start of Batman v Superman. Here's the quote:

"In this continuity James Gordon has, at some point in the past, bitten the dust. How and at whose hands I cannot tell you - all that's noted in the script is that there's a memorial plaque to James Gordon. This explains why the role wasn't cast for the film, at least."

The Nashville skyline's AT&T building (formerly the Bell South building), known as the 'Batman building' to locals, to double as the headquarters of Wayne

Enterprises in the upcoming film Batman vs. Superman Warner Bros. announced earlier this summer. Matt Hagen, a representative of DC stated, "Using the AT&T building is a natural choice to represent Wayne Enterprises in Batman vs. Superman.  It's unique design reinforces the subtlety in storytelling that director Zack Snyder is widely known for." Snyder also shared, "I'm not sure how much time will be spent shooting in the Nashville area, but I can safely say that the city will fare much better than Metropolis did!"
