Ryan Phillippe Stars in New ABC Drama 'Secrets & Lies' Premiering March 2015, Watch Trailer Teaser Here (VIDEO)

Ryan Phillippe stars in the new ABC drama series "Secrets and Lies" that premieres on Sunday night, March 1, 2015 at 9/8c. They have released a new trailer teaser, which you can check out above. 

"Secrets and Lies" is based on the Australian television series of the same name. Season 1 has a 10-episode series commitment with ABC. Barbie Kligman was brought in as executive producer and showrunner whilst the producers from original series, Tracey Robertson and Nathan Mayfield, serve as executive producers.

The 10-episode series is set in Charlotte and stars Ryan Phillippe ("I Know What You Did Last Summer") as Ben, a suburban family man who stumbles upon the body of his neighbor's young son and becomes the prime suspect in the homicide. To clear his name, Ben must uncover the secrets of his quiet neighborhood and face the hardened detective (Juliette Lewis) investigating the case. Kadee Strickland, Dan Fogler, Natalie Martinez (of CBS' locally shot "Under the Dome"), Indiana Evans and Bella Shouse costar.

Phillippe became a household name in the 90's with his roles in movies such as I Know What You Did Last Summer, Cruel Intentions, and 54. In the 2000s, he appeared in several films, including 2001's Academy Award for Best Picture nominee Gosford Park, 2005's Academy Award-winning ensemble film Crash, and the 2006 war drama Flags of Our Fathers.

Ryan Phillippe has had a busy 2014, also writing/directing/producing the movie Shreveport. He will also be featured in two television roles: "Men at Work" where he plays himself in an episode and "Secrets & Lies", which premieres on ABC Spring 2015.
