CBS' Two and A Half Men Season 12's next episode is titled "Bouncy, Bouncy, Bouncy, Lyndsey" and it will be airing on Thursday, January 8, at its regular 9 PM time slot. According to the studio, it will have Herb (Ryan Stiles), asking Alan (Jon Cryer) if he can go on a date with Lyndsey (Courtney Thorne-Smith). Herb is of course the ex-husband of Alan's ex-first wife Judith. He is also, aside from Walden (Ashton Kutcher), Alan's only known friend. On the next episode, we can in addition expect to see Walden discovering how challenging it is to be intimate with women with his foster son, Louis (Edan Alexander), in the house.

After "Bouncy, Bouncy, Bouncy, Lyndsey" comes "Here I Come, Pants!" which will air on January 15. Four more episodes will follow before Two and A Half Men, the longest-running comedy series on broadcast TV, finally folds up on February 19, when it will conclude with a one-hour special farewell show which will comprise of episodes 261 and 262 airing one after the other. The CBS sitcom, which debuted on September 22, 2003, has garnered 47 Emmy Award nominations, with co-star Jon Cryer winning twice, over the course of its run on TV's prime time schedule. Two and A Half Men's last season, quite fittingly, brings it back squarely to its original theme - two grown men facing the challenges and complications of living with and raising a growing boy as their own.

In related news, the time slot to be vacated by Two and A Half Men will be taken over by CBS' new sitcom - The Odd Couple which is based on the 1965 Neil Simon play of the same name about two guys forced to share the same room in an apartment after they were both thrown out by their ex-wives. Aside from a 1968 film, the new CBS sitcom will be the third reboot of The Odd Couple following a TV series which aired 1970-1975 and another remake, The New Odd Couple, which run 1982-1983.
