Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds welcome their first baby!

Blake Lively starts her 2015 as a new mom!

Lively who is married to Ryan Reynolds in 2012 welcomed their first child over the Christmas holidays however the couple managed to keep this little bundle of joy away from the glaring lights of the paparazzi until Page Six of the New York Post confirmed the news earlier in the week.

In her recent interview with PEOPLE magazine she shared at having a baby doesn't feel like a "massive change". In fact, she wants more than one. "I do want to just enjoy this moment. But I also feel like my first child is going to be the oldest sibling to the next kid, and that may change with each and every year.  I'm looking forward to how one baby influences the other, and to my family as a whole, to every single chapter." 

The former Gossip Girl star has yet to announce further details about their baby it would seem that someone from the inside had "accidentally" leaked the information on Twitter. A nurse from Westchester Medical Center was reported to have tweeted under the username @kimbansky the child's gender and name only to be followed up with another tweet that she was in "trouble" before her username was deleted and along with her post, the International Business Times reports.

Instead of confirming anything, the 27-year-old actress only shared a photo of a painting on her Instagram with the caption "Happy New Year".

Unfortunately, for those seeking any confirmation from the star herself, Lively is known to be inactive in any social media accounts. Her husband though is a frequent Twitter user but doesn't share personal posts on his social media.

So far, Lively is currently busy expanding her business "Preserve" which is a lifestyle site launched last July that features a combination of fashion, food, beauty and philanthropy. The actress shared with PEOPLE, that she takes inspiration from her mother, father and siblings and adds that they have been the secret to her success. "Family is at the heart of everything I do". 

Recently, the actress was listed under Forbes' annual "30 under 30" list along the likes of Emma Watson, Ellen Page, Zac Efron and Emma Stone.
