AMC released a new "The Walking Dead" trailer last week and it is somewhat sparse on the spoilers but there was some news making the rounds this week about castings of the new season.

The fans could not make out clearly where the gang is going and what their destination is. Some reports suggest that Alexandria Safe-Zone will be the gang's next stop in the new season of "The Walking Dead". And also, Rick and his group of followers will be meeting with a new character named Aaron who is a recruiter at this new destination.

AMC has not officially announced the casting for this new character, but rumors are rife that Ross Marquand will be playing the recruiter Aaron. Also, Aaron has a boyfriend named Eric who lives with him at Alexandria Safe-Zone.

The show's writers have reportedly said that this season will start off at a very dark moment and will continue to be a little dark for some time. Things will start falling apart and that is why the trailer prompts "it is all about sticking together". They also hinted that some characters might die in this season, which is a hot trend these day - sudden killing of characters to raise the viewership of the show.

"The Walking Dead" is scheduled to be premiere on AMC on Feb 8 this year. The loyal fans of this series are eagerly waiting to see what happens next and how the gang continue their journey together.

The much-loved show premiered on Oct. 31, 2010 and since then it has attained cult status. The response was so fantastic that the channel immediately renewed it for another season and since then there has been no stopping.
