'Interstellar' Blu-ray and DVD Release Date March 2015 From Christopher Nolan

Paramount Pictures has officially announced the release date for Christopher Nolan's Interstellar. Hard to believe, but it has just been a few months since the release of the science fiction film in 2014. Surprisingly, the movie is still running in over 700 theaters in North America itself and Paramount has decided to release its Blu-ray and DVD.

In addition to the digital HD copy of the film, a few extras have also been included in the Blu-ray and DVD package. The extras include the extended cut of the broadcast special, information about how the crewmembers avoided sand blindness during filming, and how to design and build unique characters and those suits and helmets. In addition, a number of behind the scene clippings related to the nitty-gritty's involved in making of the movie have also been included. Interviews of the cast and crew members regarding their experience while working on the movie has also been included in addition to the trailers that premiered in different theatres before the movie was released on the big screen.

Interstellar was first premiered on 14th Oct, 2014. The movie starred Anne Hathaway as Amelia Brand, Matthew McConaughey as Cooper, David Gyasi as Romilly, Matt Damon as Dr. Mann, Wes Bently as Doyle, Michael Caine as Professor John Brand and Jessica Chastain as Murphy Cooper. The movie is a story about a group of scientists, headed by Cooper and Brand, and their journey to the other world beyond the known boundaries. The drama movie has reportedly crossed the $660 million mark in three months.

The DVD and Blu-ray for Interstellar will be made available for purchase on 31st March, 2015. If it is impossible for its fans to wait till end of March, the movie in Digital HD format will be available online for download two weeks prior to the DVD release.
