Twitter user Grant Smith @StrategySmith posted a series of pictures on his account, captioning them: "Mayweather and Pacquiao sealed the deal. Shook on it. Exchanged phones and typed in each others' numbers."

Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao met for the first time at a basketball game in Miami featuring the Heats against the Milwaukee Bucks. It was Mayweather who went over to Pacquiao's side at half-time. According to Pacquiao's adviser Michael Koncz, the meeting between the two boxers was not even planned as the Pac-Man was due to fly to Los Angeles on Tuesday but his flight was canceled because of storm Juno so he went the game instead. He told Yahoo Sports that "Floyd walked over and he and Manny had a nice little talk." Mayweather also reportedly gave Pacquiao his cellphone number and told him it's time for them to work this fight out among themselves.

According to the Daily Mail, Pacquiao's close friend Bernard Cloma told radio station DZMM on Wednesday, January 28, that after the game Mayweather visited the Flipino's hotel and the pair had a lengthy discussion in the presence of Pacquiao's wife Jinkee and Koncz. Reportedly, he told the radio station: "Yes, Mayweather went to the hotel and visited Manny. They had a long talk."

The Mayweather-Pacquiao mega-fight deal has been in the offing since 2009. To date, Pacquiao has already agreed to all of Mayweather's terms and conditions, including a 60-40 purse split in favor of the American. However, nothing concrete has come out. Hopefully, the two have come to an understanding inside the Filipino champ's hotel room.
