The CW's The Flash season 1's 12th episode airing February 3 at its regular 8:00-9:00 pm Tuesday time slot is titled "Crazy For You." Directed by Rob Hardy from a script written by Aaron Helbing and Todd Helbing, the next installment in the TV adaptation of the DC Comics series will have "love is in the air" for its theme for the week.

According to the studio's press release, Dr. Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker) has decided that she and Barry (Grant Gustin) need to move on from their exes, Ronnie Raymond (guest star Robbie Amell) and Iris West (Candice Patton), and find new loves, so she takes him for a night out at the local karaoke bar. However, Caitlin doesn't have any luck making a love connection. Barry on the other hand meets Linda Park (guest star Malese Jow), a sports reporter for the Central City Picture News, and asks her out on a date. Later, when Barry tells Iris he has a date, Iris finds herself surprised at her own reaction to the news.

Meanwhile, Cisco (Carlos Ramon) seriously considers Hartley "the Pied Pier' Rathaway's (guest star Andy Mientus) dangerous offer. As seen during the closing moments of last week's episode, Hartley told Cisco he can help them find where Ronnie Raymond was hiding if Cisco let him out of his holding cell inside S.T.A.R. Labs.

Later, The Flash team searches for Shawna (guest star Britne Oldford), a meta-human with teleportation powers, who just busted her boyfriend Clay (guest star Micah Parker) out of Iron Heights, a maximum security state correctional facility. When Barry's father Henry Allen (guest star John Wesley Shipps) snoops around in an attempt to help Det. Joe West (Jesse L. Martin) and his son solve the crime, he ends up in the prison's infirmary after getting roughed up by his co-inmates.

Based on the DC Comics mythology, Shawna could be the super-villain dubbed 'Peek-a-Boo' because of her ability to teleport from one place to another. In the comic books, Peek-a-Boo became a criminal because of her love for her sick father, for whom she stole a kidney from a hospital in an attempt to save his life. In the TV version, Shawna is apparently also motivated by a misplaced love for her incarcerated boyfriend.
