'Fortitude' Star Stanley Tucci Welcomes a New Baby Girl!

Stanley Tucci and wife, Felicity Blunt, welcomes to the world Matteo Oliver Tucci.

The couple's first child together, born to them in London, will be joining the Tucci's growing family comprising of the couple, 12-year-old Camilla and their 14-year-old twins, Nicolo and Isabel.

The 54-year-old Hunger Games star joked around with People about his son saying, "I believe he is mine. We are all thrilled to welcome him to this cold, cruel world." And then adding in a more serious note, "We are all thrilled that he is here and healthy."

It was only last October that the couple had announced that they were expecting a baby, ABC News reports.

Tucci deserves such happiness ever since the unfortunate passing of his first wife, Kate, in 2009 due to breast cancer. Tucci and Blunt were introduced to each other by Felicity's sister, actress Emily Blunt, where they were then married in 2012.

Aside from being a new dad all over again, Tucci stars in the Sky Atlantic drama Fortitude where the series revolves around the tagline, "It's not only the cold that kills". Basing on that, one could already tell that the Devil Wears Prada alum's latest project is a sinister crime story.

Tucci co-stars with the star studded cast of Michael Gambon, Sofie Grabol, Christopher Eccleston, and Jessica Raine where the series is set in the Arctic named Fortitude. In the tightly knit community, a horrific crime ensued where it threats to reveal the secrets each resident hides from each other.

Gambon plays the role of Henry Tyson who is not only fighting an illness and his alcohol dependence but also the demons of his past where he reveals that even they did not know the full story of the series so like the audience they are hooked on what is going to happen next. "We weren't given the full story and it leaves you wondering. It's a unique thing," Radio Times quotes the actor. Even Sofie Grabol, who plays the role of the ambitious governor, adds "We had a lot of discussions among the actors while filming. It's so complex that even we the actors had to explain to each other."

Fortitude is written by Simon Donald and has Patrick Spence and Donald as its executive producers.
