The iPod touch sixth generation is already way behind its schedule, with its release date expected to have already occurred in Sept 2014 in accordance with Apple's two year update plan for the modern day killer gadget. For reasons which have not been addressed yet, the iPod touch 6 is as of now lost without a trace. While Apple hasn't said anything about it, there are chances of it surfacing in April, September, or somewhere in this year.

The recently released iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus have witnessed a huge demand from all the loyal users of Apple products all around the globe. On the other hand, the iPod Touch line is already winning the hearts of customers particularly the age group who have a liking towards music and others who incline towards the reasonableness, usefulness, and effortlessness of the gadget.

The uplifting news however for iPod 6 fans is that Apple has at last gotten up to speed up the iPhone demand, which means that the main parts of the phone, parts like the A8 chip and the display are presently accessible to be utilized for this generation of the iPod touch also. It may have specs like a 4.7 inch and potentially a 5.5 inch screen size.

With the next big upcoming Apple event is for their Watch release and showcase, fans are hoping that Tim Cook will say something about the latest version of iPod as well.

But fans should not get their hopes too high, there is an equal chance that Apple might not release any further IPod devices at all and sign off the latest IPod as the full and final IPod for good.

Let us hope this is not the case and we soon get to see a great new IPod in the market.
