Rosie O’Donnell Leaving ‘The View’ Again; Plus Casey Key House Is Available to the Market

Rosie O'Donnell's house has been put up in the market.

The talk show host house on Casey Key came on the market last Feb 4 at $5,750,000.

According to a report by Real Estate, O'Donnell, a co-host of television's The View, bought the four-bedroom, 4,647 square foot house at 703 Casey Key Road, Nokomis, for $5 million in October 2013.

At that time, Forbes magazine reported that O'Donnell sold her long-time Miami home on exclusive Star Island because Miami had gotten "too crazed" for her liking.  She considered Olivia Newton-John's estate up the coast in Jupiter before visiting Sarasota and becoming attracted to its amenities and lifestyle, the magazine reported.

The house was built in 1998 on eight-tenths of an acre overlooking the beach.

According to the listing information,  the house has floors of French oak, tongue & groove ceilings, designer tile and marble, a chef's kitchen with Wolf range, Sub-Zero refrigerator, two Miele dishwashers and two wine coolers, multiple covered porches, an elevator, new hurricane-rated fenestration, a generator and dry boat storage at a nearby marina.

Meanwhile in a report by Boomtron.com, O'Donnell had announced that she is leaving The View again. This decision was brought about by her split from her partner and she wishes to spend time with her kids.

This is not news as Rosie has reportedly brought drama again during her second stint on the show. A couple of years ago she stepped down again due to drama and was brought on in hopes of boosting the ratings. We speculated that the series would lose cast members again and it has been hinted at last month. Rosie will be leaving the show after next week.
