Even though the show won't be aired this week, Scandal fans just can't wait for the next week with a number of rumors making news all around. The Episode 14 of the show, titled The Lawn Chair, will reportedly show how a mishap in Washington D.C will attract national interest while the White House prepares to tackle the difficult-to-handle VP. The synopsis for the episode has been put online by Carter Matt.

ABC productions recently released the teaser video for the next episode that stated the upcoming drama as one of the "most scandalous" episodes of Season 4. While on the other hand, Bellamy Young, who plays the role of Mellie in the show, tweeted that the next episode is going to be an "epic" one with loads of surprises for its viewers. Now it's up to its fans to think about the tragedy that will hit the White House.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Lena Dunham is slated to make a guest appearance in an upcoming episode of the show. It is rumored that the Girls star will play a short key role that shows her link with the OPA. However, the rumor has not been confirmed officially. In the past, Dunham has been heard referring to Scandal and Olivia Pope in one of her own TV show.

It is also speculated that the plot of Stephen Finch, played by Henry Ian Cusick, could make a comeback this season after disappearing in Seasons 2 and 3. However, there is no official announcement about it yet.

What tragedy could strike the White House? Will it involve Olivia Pope? Or someone else would make an entry?
