During Monday's announcement of Apple's new device, people were expecting that it was the Apple Watch.  They were in for a surprise when Apple's Worldwide Marketing Senior Vice President Philip Schiller introduced the all-new MacBook.

Showing the very slim MacBook to the public, Schiller presented the cool features and how they are different from the MacBook Air.  It only weighs 2 pounds and 13.1 millimeters thin.

The most amazing feature is that is does not have a fan, hence the reason for being so light and thin.  The new processor Intel Core M is energy-efficient and Apple boasts to lengthen the life of the battery to almost the whole day.

What's also great is the powerful and vivid Retina color display with 2304 pixels.  So no matter how small the picture you are looking at, it will still be that realistic.

The keyboard was redesigned and features the butterfly mechanism which lets you experience a totally distinct typing wonder.  The keys were designed to easily tap and only needs light touches so no need to pound the keyboard while typing.  The new keyboard also extends up to the edges of the new MacBook.

The trackpad was also upgraded by using simple push methods.  Different amounts of pressure will allow a specific action.  It picks up a touch or tap and how forceful you put on the trackpad backed by the Taptic Engine made uniquely by Apple.

Lastly, the new MacBook only has two ports.  The USB-like connector is called the USB Type-C port.  It is revolutionary since it can power the MacBook, connect to another monitor and even transfer media content.

With the new MacBook, one can only imagine how to address it:  is it a laptop of a tablet?  Go buy one to know the answer.
