Marin Hinkle, 48, best known for playing Judith, the mean ex-wife of Alan Harper in CBS' Two and a Half Men, is set to join Craig Ferguson, 52, the former host of CBS' The Late Late Show, who has landed the lead role on ABC's upcoming new single-camera comedy pilot TV series, The King of 7B.

Ferguson is set to take on the role of an "agoraphobic recluse" named Prentiss Porter who finally ventures outside after 11 years when he believes his soulmate has moved in across the street. The network further describes his Prentice Porter character as "far from shy and humble; he wears a monogrammed dressing gown and has a refined, upright, regal bearing." Hinkle is set to play Prentiss' sister Charlotte, described as "formerly a stylish deb and now a PETA zealot who eschews beauty products and wears only natural fabrics."

Hinkle and Ferguson will be joining previously announced cast members Carla Jimenez and Kirby Howell-Baptiste.

As previously announced by ABC, Howard Franklin will be penning the script. He will also executive produce King of 7B along with Dan Fogelman and his Rhode Island Ave. Productions banner. David Frankel will likewise executive produce as well as direct the pilot. Ben Karlin is attached to serve as showrunner.

Aside from Two and a Half Men, Hinkle also starred as Judy Brooks on ABC's drama series Once and Again and has in several other TV shows including Madam Secretary, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Don't Trust the B___ in Apartment 23, Army Wives, ER, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, House, among others.

Fergusson, even while he was still hosting for The Late Late Show, remained in touch with the acting community, taking on regular guest voice roles on animated TV series like Family Guy, SpongeBob Square Pants, Futurama, Archer as well as scripted appearances on Hot in Cleveland, Sean Saves the World and Web Therapy, and feature films How to Train Your Dragon 2 and more. He hosted The Late Late Show from January 3, 2005, to December 19, 2014.
