This early, "Crimson Peak" is already earning praises from well-known authors Stephen King and son Joe Hill who recently watched the sneak preview of the gothic horror film as reported by Cinema Blend.

The early cut by great director Guillermo Del Toro was assembled to let two of the most renowned authors of horror novels to be previewed just last weekend.  The two scribes were really treated to a horrifying preview.

"Crimson Peak" which is slated to be shown on October 16 tells of a young and beautiful author who happens to be torn between two men.  One is her friend from her early childhood while the other is a mysterious and odd suitor.

The setting of the movie was on a strange and rotting mansion of the Victorian era where Edith Cushing, a beautiful young author moved into with her mysterious husband.  The mansion was once a place full of life but Edith suspects that there are more stories behind the house and feels that there is a dark force lingering within its walls.

Edith was desperately trying to escape the ugly ghosts from her past which she is determined to forget.  She realizes that the mansion has a life of its own and feeds on her fear as it breathes then bleeds and remembers what happens in the past.

After the screening, the King and Prince of Horror made wonderful and high praises to Del Toro's masterpiece and they were really terrifying.  King even said that it more electrifying than Evil Dead years ago.  The two great authors even tweeted their favorable verdict and were looking forward to its showing.

With praises and exciting remarks like that, people will be anticipating its release this October.
