Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and Google's Nexus 6: A Comprehensive Comparision

Samsung's Galaxy Note 4 seems incomparable when assessing phablets. Everything about it is perfect, from design to style, its battery, processor touch screen, everything. But now, it doesn't seem like the only one out there. Google's Motorola Nexus 6 has come to put up a fight.

Nexus 6 has an almost comparable performance with similar processor, RAM and Graphics. The display, connectivity and sturdiness can all be graded as A's. The Nexus has several edges over the Note, in that it has front-facing stereo speakers, so the sound is bound to be better. It is a bit thicker than the Note but enjoys a better grip. Galaxy Note does not have any water proof abilities while Nexus 6 is splash resistant.

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 boasts a better display and pixel density, using the Super AMOLED. Though Nexus 6 does have 5.96 in AMOLED and a pixel resolution of 493, its display would definitely be if at all only slightly deterred to the point of unnoticeable. The processor, performance and software weigh on neither side. Both come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor chip, 3GB RAM, Adreno 420GPU. Nexus however has no UI overlay, so it's bound to perform better.

When it comes to camera, both the devices have had heavy upgrades from previous versions. The Note remains better however. Comparing the storage options, Galaxy Note 4 has only one storage space of 32GB. Nexus 6 on the other hand has options of both 32 GB and 64GB on board. The connectivity options of both are same with Note 4 packing an extra infrared blaster and Nexus having wireless Qi charging support.

Some extra pluses for Note would be the TouchWiz, S-Pen stylus and battery options.
