The renowned developer of "Metal Gear Solid" Hideo Kojima has announced that this is his last directorial job for Konami.

Kojima assures the many fans of the "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain" that he is still 100% committed to the last part of the installment.  He denies the rumors that he is abandoning the action-packed game before its release in September 2015.

Konami has been Kojima's "home" for the last thirty years and declared that he is leaving the popular company at the end of the year.  He has also said that "The Phantom Pain" will be his last directorial job for Konami.

Assurance was promised by Kojima that the "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain" will be the greatest and best game he has directed while he is still with Konami.

This early, Konami has removed logos and tagline involving Kojima from the all the posters of Metal Gear Solid ads.

Fans will be more excited knowing that the famous director is still very much involved with the development of the "Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain" sequel.  This will be something players will talk about once they get their hands into starting September.

Meanwhile, Konami has started planning that they will be shifting gears once Kojima leaves and transition the production of a new system different from what Kojima has started.  They also plan to switch the tone and approach of the game to a more pragmatic one.

Changes will be evident starting in December 2015 when Kojima's contract expires with Konami.  With a different director handling Metal Gear, they hope that the game will still attract lots of players in the future.
