Hold your rails, "Friends" fanatics, as the much anticipated reunion of the most famous clique on Earth is not happening, at least not this year. The cast of the hit 90's TV show is not getting reunited in any project like what rumors are spreading and making us believe.

It has been quite a while, the fans of the super hit show had been wishing for a comeback, but contrary to what the buzz ringing over the social media was saying, Rachel Green (Jennifer Aniston), Monica Geller (Courtney Cox), Phoebe Buffay (Lisa Kudrow), Joey Tribbiani (Matt LeBlanc), Chandler Bing (Matthew Perry), and Ross Geller (David Schwimmer) are not getting back together.

One of the lead casts, Matthew Perry, recently spoke about this issue on his appearance at the Graham Norton Show last Friday. The actor would be working on his current play in London called "The End of Longing". News told on MSN says that there had been rumors about the eminent six to reunite for an upcoming TV special with the sitcom's director, James Burrows. However, this news has a tweak.

The Huffington Post quoted the actor saying, "It's not the reunion everyone is hoping for, the other five are going to be on this special, and I am going to introduce them from London." So, yes, not the kind of reunion everyone's been waiting for, but hey, the cast people loved will still be together in one place all at the same time, so it means a reunion can still happen in the future.

"Friends" is one of the longest-running sitcoms of all time that was loved by many from then even until now. As this show warmed the hearts of so many for 10 years, it's not shocking if people are pleading for its cast to do something to pacify their longing for their story of friendship. Besides, it's only their young years that we got to know, it would be fun to at least be indulged with what happened next after 12 years from their last episode.

Perry confirmed that there wouldn't be any reunion coming, but he didn't say there wouldn't be anything coming at all. This just proves how this group of friends is loved and how people will still be wishfully waiting for a grand comeback from them.
