'Preacher' Season 2 Air Date & Spoilers: Jesse Custer Possibly Faces Pip Torrens Herr Starr, Graham McTavish Saint Of Killers

The second season of "Preacher" is finally coming this summer and it looks like Jesse Custer will be up against two terrifying characters. There is little doubt that "Outlander" Season 2 star Graham McTavish will play a larger role as The Saint of Killers when the show returns to AMC. However, the angelic bounty hunter might not be the only one tracking Jesse down. There are speculations that "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" actor Pip Torrens has been cast as the scarred executioner Herr Starr in "Preacher" Season 2.

Deadline has just confirmed that the AMC series has added three actors to its main cast. "Preacher" Season 2 will feature "Game of Thrones" star Noah Taylor and Julie Ann Emery from "Better Call Saul". However, it is Pip Torrens who has caught the interest of the show's fans. After all, the "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" actor looks like he should portray Herr Starr, who also pursues Jesse Custer in the comic books.

It is important to point out that Pip Torrens' character in "Preacher" Season 2 has not yet been confirmed. Nevertheless, fans are hoping that he has been cast as Herr Starr. If so, this could mean that Graham McTavish will not be the only tracking down Jesse Custer in the AMC series. The first images from the second season already confirm that The Saint of Killers is hot on Jesse's hills, which could lead to plenty of blood and gore.

The pictures from "Preacher" Season 2 reveal Jesse Custer, Tulip and Cassidy having to deal with the police, which might not turn out too well for the officers. One Twitter photo features The Saint of Killers inspecting a bloody bit of possible human remains. The bounty hunter will not let anything get in his way, even Herr Starr.

Fans should keep their fingers crossed on Herr Starr's possible casting and Jesse Custer hopefully getting away from The Saint of Killers. "Preacher" Season 2 will air on AMC on June 19, as per io9.
