'Baywatch' Trailer Shows Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson & Zac Efron Goes Undercover

The latest trailer of "Baywatch" shows Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Zac Efrom going undercover. The trailer also displays some high octane action and comedy.

"Baywatch" latest trailer shows some unexpected footage from the movie as reported by E! News. Efron is depicted to wear a brunette wig and makeup, dressing up as a drag with yellow high heels, black and white dress with sunglasses to go undercover. He walks beside Johnson who wears chef attire.

The trailer also shows some action and comedy flicks. One of the hilarious is when Efron, Johnson and Alexandra Daddario hide in the morgue. The new "Baywatch" movie is expected to restore the revive one of the most popular television series in the 1990's.

Recently, Hollywood producers seem to have distinctive infatuation to the old popular television series. Many TV series in 1970's to 1990's have been reproduced as the movie franchises, as reported by FOX News. Some of them are "CHiPS," "21 Jump Street," "The A-Team" and "Miami Vice.".The 1990's NBC series "Baywatch" will join the list of the popular television series converted into a movie franchise.

The original series of "Baywatch" was created by David Haselhoff with Douglas Schwartz, Michael Berk and Gregory Bonann as the executive producers. Hasselhoff also became the main cast in the entire 11 seasons of the series. He will also make a cameo appearance in the movie with Pamela Anderson.

Similar to its TV series, the movie follows a group of Los Angeles County Lifeguards assigned to watch over the Los Angeles beaches, with the original "Baywatch" producers Schwartz, Berk and Bonann co-produce the movie for Paramount Pictures. Johnson will play the role as the leader of the lifeguards team Mitch Buchannon, who will train Matt Brody (Efron), a former Olympian turned lifeguard. Other cast members are Kelly Rohrbach and Priyanka Chopra.
