'My Hero Academia' Season 2 English Sub Available on April 1; Producer Attends Anime Boston

Funimation has confirmed that its superhero anime adaptation series "My Hero Academia" season 2 will be available in English sub. The series has received positive reviews with critics saying that the episodes of the first season delivered fantastic action. The popular anime series created by Kōhei Horikoshi was lifted from a sincere story, although some critics say that the villains were underdeveloped. Nonetheless, it is one of the most highly anticipated anime series packed with a core cast of memorable and relatable characters.

By popular demand, "My Hero Academia" season 2 can be streamed on both Hulu and CrunchyRoll on April 1 with English sub, reports Comic Book. It will be available in the U.S., Canada, Ireland and UK, but the English dubbed version will be exclusive only to those who have access to the FunimationNow online streaming service. The English subbed is exclusive to Hulu and CrunchyRoll streaming sites and the dubbed version is exclusive to Funimation. Both of the English dubbed and subbed simulcast will be available the same day that the episodes are first aired in Japan.

Funimation CEO Gen Fukunaga said that they are pleased with their partnership with Hulu and CrunchyRoll bringing the anime series alongside FunimationNow comes April 1. Funimation COO Mike DuBoise also said that fans can expect to another great season of the superhero anime series. "We're excited to make ‘My Hero Academia' Season 2 accessible to more and more anime fans through this partnership with CrunchyRoll and Hulu," he said.

Meanwhile, CrunchyRoll reports that the producer of the superhero anime series Wakana Okamura will be at the Anime Boston event this year. Okamura is also known for producing "Psycho-Pass," "Haikyu!!" and "Blood Blockade Battlefront." So, for fans of these popular anime series, this would be a great chance to meet the bigwig behind the success of these anime. "My Hero Academia" season 2 airs simultaneously on April 1 in the above-mentioned countries.
