This was confirmed by the Los Angeles Police Department to The Associated Press but didn't name Rossum as the victim.

But the actress took to Twitter to express her gratefulness and appreciation to LAPD's effort and dedication. This sparked speculation that the "Shameless" Season 8 star is the victim of the burglary that happened in her area between Wednesday and Friday of last week. Rossum and her publicists have not given an official statement about the matter, however.
