Robert Pattinson and FKA Twigs have been engaged for quite a while, but the couple still has not tied the knot. While the couple has been plagued by countless breakup rumors, many fans believe that 2017 is the year the couple will finally exchange their vows.

As Popsugar reports, Pattinson and Twigs met through the former's friend, Sienna Miller. Apparently, Miller took "The Lost City of Z" actor to one of Twigs' performances and Pattinson immediately fell in love with the singer.

Despite the fact that Pattinson and Twigs are both radio silent when it comes to their wedding plans, both stars have been vocal about their feelings for each other. Many fans also believe that the couple will tie the knot this 2017 since their relationship has stood the test of time and different controversies.

Pattinson may also get the closure that he deserves from his previous relationship with ex-girlfriend, Kristen Stewart. As Vanity Fair notes, director Rupert Sanders, whom Stewart was caught having an affair with while in a relationship with the "Twilight" actor, recently spoke about the affair in an interview with Metro UK.

Sanders referred to the controversial affair with Stewart as a "momentary lapse" and said that it was a mistake. Back then, Stewart apologized for the affair after being caught by the paparazzi while Pattinson tried to make a joke out of the issue.
