A Los Angeles Superior Court jury awarded $776,944 to Brandi Cochran, a former "Price is Right" model who filed suit against the show after she claims producers refused to rehire her after her maternity leave. The court agreed that her pregnancy was the reason she was not re-hired by production companies FremantleMedia North and The Price is Right Productions.

Another trial will determine if Cochran is entitled to punitive damages. She is seeking $8 million in a suit against the companies because she also endured cruel treatment by producers, who allegedly called her insults such as "wide load." Another producer allegedly told her that when her pregnancy ended in a miscarriage it was "nature's way of getting rid of a bad baby."

FremantleMedia North America and The Price is Right Productions claim they were happy with the five models working on the show at the time Cochran tried to return.

Today the producers stated that they expected to be 'fully vindicated' after an appeal.

A statement read: 'We believe the verdict in this case was the result of a flawed process in which the court, among other things, refused to allow the jury to hear and consider that 40 percent of our models have been pregnant.'

This isn't the first time the show has been in legal hot water with a Price is Right model.

Former host Bob Barker, who retied in 2007, was sued by former Price is Right models for sexual harassment and wrongful termination. Most of those cases were settled out-of-court for undisclosed amounts.

"The Price is Right" began airing in the U.S. in 1972. It is one of the longest-running shows on daytime television and is beloved for giving viewers lighthearted moments such as this one (which apparently featured Santa Claus on vacation):
